LANDQUIP, which exports sprayers to Ukraine, now imports Lozova equipment from the country to Western Europe.
It showed a five metre version of the company’s Ducat disc cultivator at Tillage-Live, this featuring two gangs of discs running ahead of the finishing roll.
The 566mm hardened boron steel discs are set at 125mm spacings and individually mounted on Ducat’s 3D spring tine, which vibrate and flex in three directions.
The company says this help ensure even cultivation depth while protecting the discs against damage, and also reduces the implement’s draught.
Richard Abbott, from Landquip, says:
“Farmers say they like the build quality and that every disc is individually mounted and that the tines have three directional movement, which makes it very good in stony conditions”.
