Soil Scout is a permanently buried wireless soil monitoring system designed to help farmers, growers and green keepers optimise irrigation and field operations while reducing fertiliser losses.
Buried at root level, Soil Scout sensors transmit moisture and temperature data to a central base station every hour.
Data from the Soil Scout can be analysed in multiple ways on an online web portal including a map overlay showing current data or more detailed information for specific time periods, allowing users to build a complete picture of their land and put into practice long term solutions to help reduce the cost of soil maintenance.
