Row Crop Cultivator Updates

Pöttinger has introduced new features to its FLEXCARE V row crop cultivator for the 2026 season. The machine is designed for both conventional and ecological farms, with flexibility for contractors handling a variety of crop systems.

The most significant update is the addition of a pneumatic distribution system, compatible with Pöttinger’s AMICO front hopper. This allows fertiliser placement during cultivation, improving nutrient efficiency and reducing the need for extra passes.

A trailing tine hoe is now available as an option, designed to shake weeds out and leave them on the surface to dry. This also offers some protection against erosion by ensuring disturbed soil remains on the surface rather than being buried.

For harder ground, operators can now specify DURASTAR PLUS duck foot shares with carbide coating. These are built for improved penetration, longer wear life, and reduced replacement intervals.

The FLEXCARE V remains based on a modular design. Row spacing and tools can be adjusted without the need for additional parts, making it suitable for crops ranging from cereals at 25cm spacing to pumpkins at 160cm. Pöttinger’s online ROW CROP ASSIST tool supports operators in selecting the correct settings.

This flexibility allows one machine to be used across multiple crops, helping to increase utilisation and reduce overall costs.
