Amazone to hold in-house Technical Day at Orchard Farm

0

Following on from the previous years’ Crop Conferences, Amazone is changing the formula from the traditional formal seminars and crop trials visits to getting new Amazone kit dirty in the field.

The new Education, Training and Research facility at Orchard Farm is the venue and visitors will be able to drive up and down, turning soil over behind and then drilling, spraying, spreading – in fact the whole Amazone kit range will be in use, in the field and on the same day – Thursday 26th May 2016.

Running from 10am through to 5pm, there will be machinery demonstrations throughout the day including all of the new kit to be seen for the first time at Cereals 2106. Alongside the demonstrations of soil engaging kit, will be the Pantera 4502 self-propelled as well as UF and UX sprayers and the full spreader range on tractors and in the tramline. There is even some exceptionally well-priced, ex-demonstration machinery there to have a look at as well.

Indoors will be a full ISOBUS and Precision Farming Clinic with representatives from the major electronic suppliers on hand to answer those technical questions that have popped up in the field this spring. So whether it is ISOBUS connectivity, sensor systems, variable rate application of P&K or Nitrogen then experts are on hand. Downloading documentation to a Farm Management Information System? Then those people will also be on hand to answer any questions.

With thoughts turning towards the National Spreader Testing Scheme, there will be some spreader testing scenarios, both conventional tray testing as well as a working demonstration of the new Argus Twin radar spread pattern sensing system in the field at the same time.

Both NRoSO and BASIS CPD points are available.

Registration is by e-mail to sales@amazone.co.uk or by ringing 01302 751200
