A new factory‑installed slurry distribution system is now available on the latest generation of Amazone compact disc harrows, offering contractors and farmers a more efficient way to incorporate organic nutrients during soil preparation. The addition of an integrated distributor aims to streamline high‑capacity slurry application and improve the overall precision of nutrient placement.
At the core of the new setup is the SynCult DosiMat DMX distributor from Vogelsang, engineered for high application volumes of up to 10,000 litres per minute while maintaining consistent distribution accuracy across varying flow rates. All components—including hoses down to the first disc row—are fully installed at the factory, enabling immediate field‑ready operation and avoiding the complexity of retrofitting.
The system places slurry directly behind the leading disc row, depositing the material into the slit opened moments earlier. The following disc row then closes the soil, a method designed to minimise ammonia losses and maximise nutrient utilisation. Working depths between 5 and 14 cm are possible via 510 mm coarse‑serrated discs, each individually suspended to ensure optimal contour following and high throughput, even in heavy or residue‑rich soils.
Durability is enhanced through maintenance‑free sealed disc bearings and high‑quality powder coating, with an optional central lubrication system available to reduce daily servicing time. Operation is supported by a Smart Frame System that allows hydraulic depth control from the cab without frame adjustments via the top link.
A wide selection of rollers is compatible with the range, including the SW 600 pro cage roller developed for challenging slurry‑related field conditions. Operators can also add a mounted seeder to establish catch crops in the same pass. Working widths span 5 to 9 metres in mounted or trailed formats, ensuring compatibility with both tractor‑mounted and self‑propelled slurry tankers.
