To understand the origin of noise during agricultural operations, it is useful to take a step back. The perceived noise largely derives from vibrations due to the interaction between the tyre tread and the road surface. These vibrations, mainly generated by the rear tyres, manifest at a frequency of approximately 100 Hertz, triggering a resonance phenomenon inside the cab that amplifies the perceived noise, especially when driving at sustained speeds.
Accordingly, tyres—being the only point of contact between the vehicle and the asphalt—play a crucial role in noise containment and improving the overall operating experience.
