New High-Horsepower Tractor Set for European Debut

UK farmers looking to boost productivity could soon have a new option in the high-horsepower tractor sector. Case IH has unveiled the Steiger 785 Quadtrac, which will make its European debut at Agritechnica 2025 in Hanover this November.

The latest model delivers 853 peak horsepower—almost 10% more than the previous version—and a 40% increase in torque, giving operators the ability to work larger implements or maintain faster field speeds. This combination of power and efficiency could be particularly useful for UK arable farms tackling heavier soils or expansive cropping systems.

Alongside raw pulling power, the Steiger 785 Quadtrac focuses on operator comfort and precision technology. Two technology packages are available, including subscription-free tools such as AccuTurn™ Pro, AccuSync™, and FieldOps™, which provide automated steering, implement synchronisation, and actionable data. Such features can help farmers reduce overlaps, optimise input use, and improve overall efficiency.

“Producers today need more from their equipment — more power and peak productivity,” said Alexey Savinov, EMEA product marketing manager for Steiger tractors at Case IH. “The new Steiger 785 Quadtrac is built to deliver exactly that, combining increased horsepower and torque with the reliability operators count on.”

Despite its size, the tractor is designed for real-world farm operations. It offers 42 km/h road speed, good visibility for narrow UK lanes, and a 1,970-litre fuel tank to reduce downtime between refuelling. An optional Quadtrac Heavy-Duty Suspension system improves ride comfort, traction, and flotation, helping to minimise soil compaction while maintaining field efficiency.

The Steiger 785 Quadtrac will be on display at Case IH’s stand (Hall 3 – Stand B21) at Agritechnica from 9–15 November 2025, alongside the manufacturer’s latest tractors, harvesting machinery, and precision farming solutions. UK farmers attending the show will have the opportunity to see how high-horsepower machines are evolving to meet the demands of modern, large-scale agriculture.
