Simon Richard Ltd returns to LAMMA on stand 10.110 with an exhibit designed to showcase the versatility of the Müthing range of mulching mowers.
An example of high-quality German engineering, the Müthing range is manufactured at Soest, in western Germany, and distributed exclusively in the UK by Simon Richard.
Designed for the most demanding conditions, the MU-Pro Vario is suitable for tractors up to 250hp and offers powerful mulching performance: the gearbox has an integrated overrun clutch and through drive for 1000rpm.
For front or rear mounting, the MU-Pro uses a spiral rotor with high tempered M-Hammer flails, working against the patented removable Shark Fin shredding bar to finely shred the material. The adjustable Vario cutting bar can be used to tailor the chopping performance to the vegetation being tackled.
A self-cleaning height adjustable swivelling roller carries the mulcher and has rounded edges to protect the soil and equipped with the renowned Starinth bearings; other features include a hydraulic headstock offering 56cm side shift.
Müthing MU-Pro mulchers are ideal for a range of demanding heavy duty applications from shredding crop residues to managing verges and SFI crops.
Visitors to the stand can also inspect the popular MU-L 280, a real all-rounder ideal for mulching grass, crops, and weeds, in a productive 2.8m version and suitable for tractors up to 130hp and for front or rear mounting.
A special Birthday Edition MU-M 280 will also be on show, designed for those using heavier duty tractors up to 200hp.
Sloping verges, ditches and embankments can be safely and efficiently maintained with the MU-H/S, which uses the same high-quality rotor and removable shredding bar system, but offers a working angle of +90 to -60deg. A mechanical safety breakaway system protects the machine and the tractor in the event of a collision. A 2m version, suitable for tractors up to 90hp, will be on show. This is the smallest of a range covering up to 220hp.
Finding powerful, effective mowers for smaller tractors and with narrow widths for specialist applications such as woodland rides, orchards and vineyards can be challenging. Simon Richard has seen increased demand for the MU-Ecotop, the perfect partner for tractors up to 75hp and in widths of 1.6, 1.8 and 2 m. It features the same Müthing robust build and hood and rotor design but is ideal for more restricted areas.
